Top tips in preparing your property for floor removal!

1. Remove all furniture from the area you require floor removal services, this includes appliances such as dishwashers and fridges.
2. Take down any pictures or ornaments from around the room.
3. Empty the contents of all cupboards in the floor removal area, alternatively you may seal the doors and edges with tape to prevent dust from entering.
4. If you have open doorways or arches leading into parts of your property that you wish to keep clean, cover them with drop sheets.
5. Although Transitions always endeavour to protect your property as best we can, some damage may occur to your skirting from the heavy duty machinery. To combat this, you may either remove it completely from the area or place a protective tape over the surface.
6. Most importantly, ensure that all windows and doors leading outside are open or accessible to allow ventilation to flow through the floor removal area.
